Ab Initio's Chief Scientific Officer recognised for significant accomplishments within the field
Ab Initio’s Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Hui Xin Ong (YY) has been awarded the 2021 Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) Emerging Scientist Award. This prestigious award recognises significant scientific accomplishment and innovation of an early career researcher working in the area of inhalation science.
Dr Ong stated ‘I am truely honoured to receive such a prestigious award, it is very humbling to be recognised for my contributions to the field at such an early stage of my career. My passion is to see innovations in respiratory medicine translate from the lab into trials products to help people suffering from respiratory diseases. I hope the pre-clinical tools that I have developed will aid start-ups and innovators make that transition easier.
