Ab Initio honoured to welcome Lord Mayor of Sydney and esteemed guests.

Ab Initio Pharma Pty Ltd was honoured to host the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore and esteemed guests on a tour of its new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Sydney, Australia. The new GMP facility is based at the Marie Bashir Centre on the Royal Prince Hospital grounds in Camperdown and was constructed in partnership with Sydney Local Health District, Sydney University, and ARCS Australia. The facility, supported with funding from the Australian Growth Centre - MTPConnect, will support clinicians, researchers, start-ups and Pharma, across the district, with access to formulation R&D and manufacture of finished product for clinical trials. The tour was a highlight of the delegates’ Camperdown Tech Central precinct showcase and included the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover More; Innerwest Mayor, Darcy Byrne; Sydney Local Health District CE, Dr Teresa Anderson AM; CEO of Cicada Innovations, Sally-Ann Williams and; Dr University of Sydney Professor Mark Scott AO. The visit included a tour of the facilities clean room manufacturing areas, quality control laboratories and packaging and warehouse facilities.
